The Hushe Valley in eastern Baltistan is arguably the most beautiful valley in the Karakoram — a remote finger of green cutting into a world of granite spires, glaciers, and 7,000m peaks. The valley begins at Khaplu and ends at Hushe village, surrounded by Mashabrum (7,821m), K6 (7,282m), K7 (6,934m), and the extraordinary Laila Peak (6,096m) — one of the most beautiful mountains in the world. The Mashabrum Base Camp trek ascends the Masherbrum Glacier through a landscape of staggering scale and beauty. Unlike the Baltoro route, Hushe Valley feels genuinely off the beaten track — fewer trekkers, more intimate, more authentic. The valley is also the starting point for the Gondogoro La crossing (our most advanced trek) and combines naturally with that route.
