Overview
The K2 Base Camp and Concordia Trek is universally regarded as one of the greatest trekking adventures on Earth. Traversing the Baltoro Glacier — the world's largest non-polar glacier — you journey through a cathedral of granite walls, past soaring towers and across shimmering ice to reach Concordia (4,650m), the "Throne Room of the Mountain Gods." Here, four of the world's fourteen 8,000m peaks stand simultaneously visible: K2 (8,611m), Broad Peak (8,047m), Gasherbrum I (8,080m), and Gasherbrum II (8,034m). From Concordia, you press on to K2 Base Camp (5,150m), where elite mountaineers from around the world gather each summer to attempt the savage mountain. This is raw, untamed Pakistan at its most spectacular.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Foreign nationals require a trekking permit (USD 150/person) and the Central Karakoram National Park environment fee (USD 190/person). Pakistani nationals require a separate registration. We handle all permits on your behalf.
What fitness level is required?
You must be able to walk 12–18km/day for up to 8 hours on rough glacier terrain, carrying a 10–12kg daypack. Previous high-altitude trekking experience above 3,000m is strongly recommended.
Is travel insurance mandatory?
Yes, absolutely. Comprehensive travel insurance covering helicopter evacuation to at least 6,000m is mandatory. We will not allow trekkers to begin without proof of insurance.
What is the best time for this trek?
June to mid-August is the ideal window. The Baltoro Glacier and high camps are inaccessible before June due to snow, and weather deteriorates rapidly after mid-August.
