Overview
Haramosh (7,409m) is one of Pakistan's great undiscovered trekking gems. Rising dramatically behind Gilgit city, this massive peak is almost unknown to international trekkers despite having one of the most spectacular base camp approaches in the country. The Haramosh trek travels through the Kutwal Valley — a pristine, largely unvisited alpine corridor with wildflowers, ibex, golden eagles, and near-zero human traffic. The base camp sits in a dramatic cirque beneath Haramosh's enormous southwest face. This is true wilderness Pakistan: no other trekkers, no fixed infrastructure, just you and one of the country's most imposing peaks.
