The Alpine Club of Pakistan's certified instructors have been teaching climbing in Hunza since the club's founding in 1974. This course is designed for complete beginners to intermediate climbers who want to develop technical skills on real mountain rock. You'll learn basic knots and belay technique on Day 1, progress to leading on bolted sport routes by Day 4, and tackle a multi-pitch adventure climb on Day 6 — all within sight of the Karakoram's greatest peaks. Complete beginners typically progress to leading 5b–5c sport routes after 7 days. Those with some prior experience can reach 6a. The multi-pitch adventure climb on Day 6 is accessible to all course participants regardless of starting level.
