Broad Peak (8,047m) is the 12th highest mountain in the world and offers perhaps the most dramatic base camp setting of any 8,000m expedition — camped directly beside K2's Abruzzi face with K2 as your constant backdrop. The mountain's name derives from its wide, flat summit ridge (1.5km long). The standard West Face / Normal Route is technically less demanding than K2 but still requires excellent high-altitude acclimatization, sustained glacier travel, and ability to climb 50–55° slopes at extreme altitude. Broad Peak is often combined with K2 or GI/GII expeditions.

Camp 1 (5,900m) → Camp 2 (6,500m) → Camp 3 (7,200m) progressive rotations.
Weather Monitoring (days 31–38)
Wait for the weather window. K2 weather monitoring shared.
Summit Rotation (days 39–44)
Camp 3 → pre-summit plateau → Broad Peak main summit (8,047m). The 1.5km summit ridge requires careful navigation.
Recovery & Return (days 45–48)
Recover and return via Baltoro to Skardu and Islamabad.
Can Broad Peak be combined with K2?
Yes. Some climbers attempt Broad Peak first as acclimatization for K2 — both share the same base camp area. We offer combined K2+Broad Peak packages for experienced teams.
