Overview
Rush Lake sits at an extraordinary 4,694m above sea level, making it the highest alpine lake in Pakistan accessible by trekking. The trail climbs steeply from Hoper Village in the Nagar Valley through dramatic glacier moraines, past summer shepherd camps, and over grassy plateaus to reach the shimmering high-altitude lake. From the lakeshore, the panorama includes Spantik/Golden Peak (7,027m), Diran (7,257m), and the sweeping expanse of the Hispar Glacier β one of the world's longest glaciers. The optional extension to Rush Peak (5,100m) adds further altitude and even wider views.
