Rakaposhi (7,788m) is widely considered one of the most visually stunning peaks in the Karakoram, with its enormous southwest face rising nearly 6,000m from the Hunza River — greater vertical relief than Everest from Base Camp. The trek from Minapin Village ascends through dense pine forests and lush alpine pastures to the base camp at 4,150m, with the mountain filling the entire horizon ahead of you. This is one of the most accessible 7,000m peak base camp treks in Pakistan, combining easily with a Hunza Valley visit.
