Overview
The Diran Base Camp Trek from Minapin is one of Hunza Valley's most rewarding and underrated adventures. Starting from the lovely village of Minapin, the trail climbs steeply through terraced fields and apricot orchards before entering the wilderness of the Minapin Glacier. The base camp sits at over 4,000m in a spectacular amphitheatre beneath Diran Peak (7,257m) and the enormous west face of Rakaposhi (7,788m) — two of Pakistan's most majestic 7,000m giants. This trek combines the cultural richness of Hunza with serious high-mountain wilderness in just 6 days.
Trip Highlights
Diran Peak (7,257m) — Hunza's towering 7,000m giant rising above the base camp
